Gail & Judy is a marketplace where you can swap clothes and accessories from a curated list of mid-range brands.
Gail & Judy is the first digital solution to enable swaps and act as a dating app for your pre-owned clothes!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1- Gail and Judy post their clothes and accessories.

2- Gail likes Judy’s ZARA dress.

3- Judy is notified and can visit Gail’s closet.

4- Judy likes Gail’s skirt from JCrew.

5- A match is created, a swap is possible: both Gail & Judy can approve or decline the transaction.

6- When approving the match, they can secure their transaction by paying an insurance which is the average price of both items (equivalent to an authorization to capture).

7- Gail and Judy receive their shipping labels.

8- Gail and Judy have 3 days to ship. Gail gets her insurance back when Judy receives her product in the mail... and same for Judy when Gail simultaneously receives her new product.

They can swipe through a list of potential matches. A reciprocal like creates a match. If both members agree on the match, there is a swap.

In parallel, if Gail and Judy have a crush on a product but couldnt agree on a swap, they can simply sell and buy pre-owned fashion.

Gail & Judy instills confidence in our users by completing payments only after items are shipped by the seller and received by the buyer. In the case of a swap, we implemented a system to ease our customers’ minds. The average price between the items is calculated, and we request an authorization on our members credit card to confirm her ability to pay the insurance if she doesnt ship. The authorization is released when her item is shipped and received. Shipping labels are sent only after authorizations are processed on both sides.
